Ron Sommers is interested in tangible results. He’s interested in solving problems and effectuating change. His practice area is primarily bankruptcy. Ron serves as appointed Trustee in Chapter 7 and 11 bankruptcy proceedings, as appointed Receiver in state and federal court litigation matters, and as counsel for official unsecured creditor committees in Chapter 11 proceedings. A certified mediator, he has also represented corporations and individuals seeking out-of-court assistance or Chapter 11 reorganization.
Ron believes that sharing knowledge within the group makes everybody stronger and delivers a better product for clients. It’s a culture he’s nurtured in the firm since 1976. When he’s not doing that, you’ll find him spending as much time as he can outdoors, preferably with his grandchildren.
