Jacob D. Parsont joined Nathan Sommers Gibson Dillon as an associate in the firm’s Litigation and Real Estate sections.

While attending the University of Houston Law Center, Jacob was a member of the Mock Trial team and earned distinction as the 2025 National Champion and the 2024 Regional Champion in the American Bar Association Arbitration Competition. During his tenure as a law clerk and student attorney with the Military Justice Clinic, Jacob gained valuable experience and developed his litigation skills through hands-on advocacy and client representation. He was also selected as a member of The Order of Barristers, a national honorary organization recognizing individuals who excel in advocacy and service at their respective schools.

Prior to entering the legal field, Jacob served as an Intelligence Officer in the United States Air Force, supporting military operations both domestically and in deployed locations around the world. In the Air Force, he gained experience responding to difficult situations and applying critical thinking to solve complex problems.

In his free time, Jacob enjoys playing racquetball, watching his favorite sports teams, and spending time with his cats.
