Gretchen McCord | Houston Attorney | Nathan Sommers Jacobs

“The size of the firm, the closeness of the attorneys, and the respect from the community make it easier to do my job.”

Planning and guidance

Gretchen joined the law firm of Nathan Sommers Jacobs in 2000 and since that time has primarily practiced bankruptcy law. She regularly represents Chapter 7 bankruptcy trustees, as well as debtors and creditors in Chapters 7 and 11. Having volunteered for Special Olympics and animal rescue groups, Gretchen has a compassion for all living things. She couples that compassion with her competitive nature and uses those traits in her professional life on a daily basis.

Originally from the Midwest, Gretchen now considers herself a Texan. She embraces the variety of people, food, sports and fun that Houston has to offer and enjoys her life here with her husband and daughter.
